AI usage policy

How we use AI on this website today, and the rules that will apply to AI models on the platform once it opens.

On this website

  • The homepage film, its loading loops and the short loops at the top of other pages were made with a third-party generative video service. They are illustrative: they do not show a real CloudFARM facility or its equipment.
  • No chat assistant runs on the site, and nothing you type into a form is sent to an AI model.

On the platform, once it opens

The platform will serve AI models to developers. It is on a waitlist and serves none today. When it opens:

  • What a model produces can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it, and more carefully the more it matters.
  • Each model’s own license and use policy will apply alongside this one, and the model catalogue will name them.
  • What you may not use a model for is in the acceptable use policy.
  • Whether, where and for how long prompts and outputs are kept will be stated in the platform’s terms and the privacy notice before the platform opens.
