Acceptable use policy

Where it applies

This policy applies to the website today. It will also apply to the developer platform, which is on a waitlist, when it opens.

What is not allowed

• Breaking the law, or helping someone else to break it.
• Attacking, probing or overloading the site or the platform, or getting around their limits and checks.
• Sending spam, malware or automated submissions through our forms.
• Using anyone else’s account, or letting someone else use yours.
• Using the platform, once it opens, to make content that sexually exploits or harms children, incites violence, harasses people, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Using the platform to watch or profile people without a lawful basis.
• Breaching the export control or sanctions laws that apply to you or to us.

What we may do

We may refuse, limit or end access that breaks this policy, and we report unlawful activity to the authorities where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

This policy is a draft under legal review and is not yet in effect. When it takes effect, its date appears at the top of this page, and each later change shows a new date.
